I have decided to launch a page about my equipment.  Blog about equipment that I am using and if anything is new and what my experiences are with them.

The newest product that I purchased for the camera is some new batteries.  I found some batteries on amazon.com that are not Nikon that re inexpensive and received good reviews.

So far has worked well for me.  It is able to communicate with the camera and tell the camera the battery life.  The picture meter is not correct.  It seems to be counting up not down but then I have a counter on the card which is what i really go by.  So far it seems to be holding its charge but like all non brand names it is time that will tell if this battery is as good as a Nikon.  I do have to admit that the price is right even if it dose not work as well.  I purchased the batteries or $14.95 plus shipping and handling.  Total price was around $36 about the price of one Nikon battery.  I will keep the battery performance updated.

I have had these batteries a few weeks and they don’t hold a charge.  It loses about half of the charge in a week when unused.  I am a little disappointed I was hoping they would hold a charge longer but the batteries were cheap.  If you buy them you will have to recharge them often.
